The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and other 9 departments jointly issued the "Notice on Solidly Promoting the Control of Plastic Pollution" (commonly known as the "plastic ban") clearly pointed out that emerging areas such as takeaways, e-commerce, and express delivery are prominent areas of plastic pollution. Starting from January 1 this year, non-degradable plastic bags, plastic tableware and disposable plastic straws will be banned.
1) If there is no qualified biodegradation report, the production and sale of the product will be prohibited;
2) Plastic enterprises will gradually transform into degradable plastics, and test reports are required during research and development and before shipment.
Use and Application of Degradable Plastics
There are two main areas of use of degradable plastics:
One is the original use of ordinary plastic areas. such as agricultural mulch film and disposable plastic packaging,
The second is to replace other materials with plastics. The use of degradable plastics in these areas can bring convenience, such as golf ball nails, tropical rainforest afforestation with seedling fixing materials. Specific applications in:
1. Agriculture, forestry and fishery, plastic film, water-retaining materials, seedling pots, seedbeds, rope nets, pesticides and agricultural fertilizer slow-release materials;
2. Packaging shopping bags, garbage bags, compost bags, disposable lunch boxes, instant noodle bowls, cushioning packaging materials;
3. Supplies, golf course spikes and tee;
4. Sanitary products, feminine hygiene products, baby diapers, mattress pads, disposable razors;
5. Materials, bandages, clips, small sticks for cotton swabs, gloves, drug release materials, surgical sutures and fracture fixation materials.
Degradable plastic material detection
Degradable plastic detection range: degradable plastic bags, degradable plastic films, degradable plastic plates, degradable plastic tableware, degradable plastic cups, degradable plastic sheets, degradable plastic bottles, biodegradable plastics, degradable plastic mulch, Degradable plastic particles, etc.
Degradable plastics testing items: component testing, formula analysis, mechanical properties, aging testing, etc.
