Among them, the two national food safety standards for plastic materials and products for food contact in China GB4806.6-2016 plastic resin for food contact and GB 4806.7-2016 plastic materials and products for food contact have been released in 2016 and officially implemented in 2017 for 5 years. As early as 2018, the standard drafting group started the revision work and collected the problems in the implementation of the two standards, comparative analysis of other developed countries food contact materials and products regulations and the latest progress, clear the revision task, determine the revision principle. After a comprehensive survey of the content of the standard, research and discussion and solicitation of industry opinions, feedback and revision, and after review by the professional committee, the draft for comments will be released in October 2021, and the revised draft will be publicly solicited.
