Discussion on Special Planning Scheme of Ministry of Environmental Protection of National Major Offshore Oil Spill Emergency Capacity Building Plan

On April 29, 2014, the Hazardous Waste Department of the Solid Management Center participated in the "National Major Offshore Oil Spill Emergency Capacity Building Plan" organized by the Emergency Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection ". More than 10 people from the Department of Planning and Finance, the Department of Monitoring, the Department of Ecology, the Solid Waste and Chemical Management Technology Center, the Environmental Planning Institute, and the China Environmental Monitoring Station of the Ministry of Environmental Protection attended the meeting.

At the meeting, relevant personnel from the Solid Waste and Chemical Management Technology Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Environmental Planning Institute respectively introduced the "Planning Plan for the Capacity Building of Marine Oil Spill Emergency Recovery Disposal" and the "Planning Plan for the Capacity Building of Land-based Oil Spill Environmental Emergency Response in Coastal Areas". Participants listened carefully to the relevant introductions, and conducted in-depth discussions and put forward suggestions for further improving the content of the "Plan for the Construction of the Capacity for the Disposal of Marine Oil Spill Emergency Recovery" and the "Plan for the Construction of Environmental Emergency Response Capacity for Land-based Oil Spill in Coastal Areas.
