Publicity of the Information on the First Batch of Chemical Substances to be Added to the List of Existing Chemical Substances in China

According to the requirements of the Measures for the Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances (Order No. 7 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, hereinafter referred to as the Measures) and the Notice on Supplementing and Perfecting the List of Existing Chemical Substances in China (HELB Solid Letter [2019] No. 575, hereinafter referred to as the Notice), our department has reviewed the application materials submitted by relevant enterprises for the supplement of chemical substances to be included in the list of existing chemical substances in China. Among them, the supplement application materials of the first batch of 168 chemical substances meet the requirements of the notice and the provisions of Article 42 of the measures, and are proposed to be included in the list of existing chemical substances in China. See the attached table for details.

According to the relevant requirements of the notice, in order to embody the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality and accept public supervision, the audit of the first batch of 168 chemical substances to be listed in the list of existing chemical substances in China is now publicized on the website of our ministry.
