EPA annual production report of the United States is due on March 1

With only a few weeks left, companies registered with EPA must report production for the 2020 reporting year on or before March 1, 2021. Annual production reports submitted electronically must be submitted by midnight EST on March 1, 2021. In order to maintain a valid EPA registration, you must submit a report even if you did not produce pesticides or devices during the calendar year 2020.

Since most EPA staff are still working remotely, EPA encourages electronic reporting to ensure that your reports are submitted correctly and reviewed in a timely manner. To ensure that your report is submitted on or before March 1, 2021, we encourage everyone to register with SSTs for the electronic reporting option: https://www.epa.gov/compliance/electronic-reporting-mediator-estigations .

Using the electronic reporting system (SSTs), you can check the status of the annual production report by logging in to SSTs and clicking on the "submission history" of "form 3540-16". As long as the status is displayed as "EPA accepted" or "waiting for EPA review", you have submitted it correctly without doing anything else. EPA certification process

For products regulated by the FIFRA act, distributors and manufacturers must register with EPA. Among them, the distributors in the United States need to obtain the company number or EPA register number, and any factory that produces or repackages these devices or activators must obtain the EPA establishment number. A company number or registration number can be associated with multiple business names.

After obtaining the relevant number, the manufacturer's EPA establishment number must be marked on the outer package. At the same time, packaging and labeling should meet the requirements of EPA regulations.

Any factory registered with EPA must report the sales situation of the previous year to EPA before March 1st of each year, including the specific product category, model and sales quantity. Within one month after obtaining the EPA business name, the first registered manufacturer must make up the sales situation of the previous year to EPA.

For fungicides, pesticides and other products, if the active ingredients are not approved by EPA, relevant information must be submitted to EPA to prove the safety of the active ingredients. At the same time, the labels of such products must also be filed with EPA.
